Aryssa Joel

Aryssa is a talented, 16 year old artist whose dream has always been to entertain an audience.  She is warm, loving and compassionate and at the same time tenacious, hard working, creative and intuitive.  Born and raised in Allen Texas, she is pop at heart with a bit of Jazz, Country and Soul.

She developed a passion for the arts at a very early age which has only grown stronger over the years.  She works diligently at perfecting the skills to becoming a triple threat.  She is a trained actress, vocalist and competitive dancer.  Writing music allows her to express her life.  For her each song is personal and reflects who she was, who she is and the dreams of who she can be. It is a diary of her life – her friends, boys (and more boys J), cherished moments with her family, struggling to understand the loss of her Dad and her personal challenge to keep on reaching.

She has sung in church, school and public choirs and has been in musical theatre for many years - playing leading roles in plays such as Annie, Seussical, etc.  Growing up she can be seen in several episodes of Barney, and many different commercials.  She has also been in the movie Vampire Suck; the TV show Chase etc.  She has won accolades such as first place Drama UIL, first place in several vocal competitions around the city.
